Maa Sharda Devi Temple, sitting atop the Trikoota hill in Maihar. While the
temple attracts thousands of devotees year on year, the town is also considered
as one of the 51 Shakti Peeths of Goddess Parvati. What adds to this divinity is
how Maihar got its name. The name means ‘Necklace of Mother’.

Day 1 - ARRIVE MAIHAR

Pickup from Maihar railway station, check in hotel, after relaxing, proceed for
local sightseen in Maihar and Darshan of Devi. Overnight stay in Maihar.

Day 2 - MAIHAR - CHITRAKOOT - MAIHAR

After breakfast, we will proceed to chitrakoot where we will go for local sightseen, Chitrakoot Falls, Gupt Godavari Caves, Kamadgiri Temple, and Sati
Anusuya Temple,than at evening proceed to Mihar, Overnight stay in Maihar.
